Blogging Morrowind 2011: Day 3

I think that below my perfect scaly exterior lies a monster.

I departed from Pelagiad in quite a haste. I did chat with an Argonian farm hand, he was pleasant as we always are, but I left swiftly. The town had grown rather unpleasant for me, and a peculiar stench haunted me. As I left I noticed a cave, assuming it to be another slave pit I ventured in. Two people assaulted me there, a human woman fell quickly to my halbred, then a Nord with a hammer came at me and nearly smashed me to death. Luckily he missed the killing shot and I stabbed him in the back, severing his spine.

At the back of the cave was a little... home? Were these two lovers exiled from normal life? It matters not now I suppose, but I do wonder what exactly they were doing. As I was quite damaged I decided to take a nap, however as I fell asleep a man attacked me. Dressed as an assassin of the legendary Dark Brotherhood! What the hell is going on? I slew him and left, quite distressed from the encounter.

I met a woman along the road asking me to.. confess to a bandit her love, if I were to come across her. I have no qualms with love, and if I happen to find this wayward bandit I'll try to figure something out for the young girl. At least I think she was young. I can never tell with the humans. Shortly after came another cave. This time four people resided within, again, no slaves. Kind of disappointed I departed.

Nothing else really bothered me along my journey, though my bag was getting quite heavy. I trudged on, and before night even began to fall I came upon my destination. Balmora. I entered the city limits and before anything else stopped at the nearest shop to empty my pockets a little of all the loot I found.

God damned Khajiit's. I entered the man's store, and again, before I even knew what was occuring, we were locked in combat. He was quick, especially with that hulking hammer. He managed to near break my arm with it! But I got the upper-hand, as if a Khajiit stood a chance. I'm laying in his... my own bed now. This arm isn't going to get better without rest. Tomorrow I'll seek out Casius Casades. For now, I must sleep.
